New Open Studio Pass Options!

Extended Open Studio pass holders will have Up to 10 hrs a week of open studio access during posted open studio hours.

All Access Open Studio Pass holders will have access to the studio at ANY time, day or night, outside of classes and workshops 

Open Studio Passes are for 6 weeks and are a great option for those who want to be in the studio more without the commitment of buying and renting a full studio. Email Delorespottery@gmail.com with any questions.

Make Better Pots

3 Part Series 

Looking to take your ceramic work to the next level? Join internationally recognized ceramic master Eric Serritella in Three separate and unique workshops designed to improve hands on skills and design aesthetics of both wheel-thrown and hand-built work. Select from the topics that interest you or join ALL THREE two-day workshops and improve how your pots are made and perceived. (Prices vary accordingly) Separate and unique workshops designed to improve hands on skills and design aesthetics of both wheel-thrown and hand-built work.

Each workshop includes demos, one-on-one instruction, clay and hands on time.

Hand-building and Wheel Throwing for beginners!

Learn the basics of hand-building and surface decoration!

In this class you will learn basic wheel throwing and hand-building techniques to create beautiful functional or decorative pieces.

If the wheel is just not your thing, but you’d love to create a mug or a bowl, this class could be for you. There will be guidance and demos on the wheel, as well as a number of hand building demos.
And then there’s always the option of combining the two techniques! - Throwing a piece on the wheel and then altering it with hand building techniques.

So many possibilities!!

Shaping & Altering Clay

Tue, June 4th - July 9th 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Learn the basics of hand-building and surface decoration!

In this class you will learn basic hand-building techniques to create beautiful functional or decorative pieces.

Students will meet for 2.5 hrs, 6:30pm- 9pm, once a week for six weeks. You will be able to progress at your own speed and instruction will be catered to your particular skill level.

This class will focus on making functional dishes and small sculptures.

Coil, slab and pinch construction is covered along with slip painting, and sgraffito, techniques.

New demonstrations every week will help to guide the projects but students are free to develop their own projects too!

Intro & Intermediate Pottery Class - Morning!

Wed June 5th - July 10th 10 am - 12:30pm

All levels of clay experience are welcome!

Have you ever wanted to try making pottery? Has it been a while since you’ve thrown on the wheel and you want to refresh your throwing skills? This class is for you!

Students will meet for 2.5 hrs, 10am - 12:30pm, once a week for six weeks. This class series will take you through the various stages of wheel throwing such as, wedging, centering and the actual shaping of a piece, trimming and glazing. You will be able to progress at your own speed and instruction will be catered to your particular skill level.
